Mustard: Assists to decrease several inflammatory pathways in the body. University of Maryland Dept. Agriculture and Natural Resources found that the cruciferous microgreens, such as yellow mustard, contain up to 40 times more nutrients than their mature counterparts These antioxidants help the body fight free-radicals, commonly associated with high cancer risk.
Daikon Radish: Radishes are a rich source of compounds called glucosinolates, shown to combat carcinogens. Radish, like all microgreens, are rich in fibre, which support healthy intestinal movement and purge stagnant food. Radish microgreens can help to thin mucous and eliminate phlegm. The high vitamin E content supports with healthy walls of arteries and veins.
